Guilty confession time

So, I need to come clean.  I’ve been harboring the secret for far too long… I admit it, I still use TopStyle from time to time.   (I can hear you laughing from here.)  I only use it for css, but for some reason the auto-complete just feels right to me, or maybe we are just creatures of habit, I don’t know.  But it does make me think about programming, technology, and progress.  This business is all about change and the next big thing, but humans, by and large, are very resistant to change.  Sure, there are some things all of us get excited about when they are new and different, but I like to think each of us has their own secret “security blanket”; that one artifact from the technological past that we just won’t let go of.   What is it for you?  Using notepad for text documents?  Microsoft Paint instead of Gimp?  Any analog media what-so-ever?  Someone out there is reading this on IE5.5, I just know it.  Whatever it is, a tip of the hat to you.  Here’s to fond memories of good times gone by.  (Well… maybe not the IE5.5 person… get Firefox! )
